Our award-winning process of utilizing old latex paint as the landfill's "alternative daily cover" and any paint customers pick up through our materials reuse program brings additional funds for our hazardous waste program. It's a win-win that keeps your disposal fees lower!

The CSBG Committee is the driving force behind federal funding allocated to local organizations that combat poverty in our community. By focusing on critical areas such as employment, education, income management, housing, nutrition, emergency services, and health, they tackle poverty's root causes head-on.

The Foster Pet Challenge is a joint initiative between Mesa County and Roice-Hurst Humane Society. It aims to inspire the community to open their hearts and homes to temporarily foster pets, providing them care and comfort while they await adoptive homes. The campaign's ambitious goal is to find 100 new foster families in just 100 days, from June 20 through September 28, 2023.
