Non-Residential Community Corrections
Clients may progress to the non-residential program after accomplishing specific individual objectives in their residential placements. This allows clients to complete their sentences while living in the community. Many clients secure their own residence while others transition through the Independent Living Apartments. Clients utilize the skills they have gained, while still receiving supportive case management and continued accountability. Participating in non-residential community corrections is a vital part of client progression.
Services for non-residential clients
Clients who progress to non-residential status of community corrections remain under supervision and are required to abide by program rules and regulations. The goal of this program is to continue to provide assistance to clients who are living in the community. This program assists clients in maintaining stability with their recovery, residence, and employment. Clients on the non-residential program receive a variety of services:
- Case management
- Substance testing
- Home visits
- Curfew monitoring
- Employment services
- Budgeting and financial management
- Electronic monitoring
- Outpatient treatment services
- Problem solving class
- Life skills coaching
- Support groups
- Referral to community resources
