Community Based Services strives to promote client success while maximizing public safety through supervision and monitoring services.
Our programming and services offer:
- Substance testing
- Electronic monitoring as a jail alternative
- Case management
- Referrals to treatment and education
- Onsite employment assistance
Clients, regardless of the program they are on, may access client employment services and treatment services offered by Criminal Justice Services Department (CJSD). Please email CJSD-PTS@mesacounty.us for questions or to check in.

Deferred Judgment and Sentencing
The client signs a stipulation that judgment and sentence are deferred for a length of time.

Pretrial Diversion is a pre-sentencing agreement with the District Attorney’s Office diverting the client from the courts.
