No Burn Advisory

Mesa County Public Health has issued a No Burn Advisory from Saturday, June 6 at 7 a.m. until Monday, June 15 at 9 p.m. due to fire danger. Burning of any kind, including agricultural burning, is not allowed during this advisory period. Check conditions on our Air Quality webpage.

The Foster Pet Challenge starts today!

Today is the first day of the Foster Pet Challenge! The challenge is a joint initiative between Mesa County and Roice-Hurst Humane Society aiming to inspire the community to open their hearts and homes to temporarily foster pets, providing them care and comfort while they await adoptive homes. The campaign's ambitious goal is to find 100 new foster families in just 100 days, from June 20 through September 28, 2023.
