No Burn Advisory

Mesa County Public Health has issued a No Burn Advisory from Saturday, June 6 at 7 a.m. until Monday, June 15 at 9 p.m. due to fire danger. Burning of any kind, including agricultural burning, is not allowed during this advisory period. Check conditions on our Air Quality webpage.

Noxious Weed Treatments Clifton Nature Park & The Ponds

Starting Nov. 1, 2024, our Mesa County Noxious Weed and Pest Department will do noxious weed treatments to restore natural areas at Clifton Nature Park and The Ponds. Through funding from the America the Beautiful grant, this essential work focuses on removing invasive species and enhancing our community’s open spaces!

The Mesa County Justice Center will undergo renovations

At the Oct. 29 administrative public hearing, the County Commissioners approved a $3.6 million contract with FCI Constructors to remodel the second floor of the Mesa County Justice Center! This renovation will add a brand-new courtroom and additional office space to meet the needs of our growing community and continue to provide quality service to residents.
