During the April 15 administrative public hearing, the Board of Mesa County Commissioners approved a letter of support to U.S. Rep. Jeff Crank in response to House Resolution 1984, Blocking Lawless Open Border Cities Act of 2025.

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and Mesa County Department of Human Services (MCDHS) is encouraging residents to take part in building a safer, stronger community for children and families.
