Mesa County Public Health has issued a No Burn Advisory from Saturday, June 6 at 7 a.m. until Monday, June 15 at 9 p.m. due to fire danger. Burning of any kind, including agricultural burning, is not allowed during this advisory period. Check conditions on our Air Quality webpage.

E Road Phase 2B Construction Project Starts Nov. 27

In collaboration with K&D Construction, Inc., Mesa County will begin the E Road Phase 2B Project on Nov. 27, 2023. The project will focus on replacing the E Road Lewis Wash Bridge and enhancing the E Road and 31 Road intersection. The comprehensive upgrade encompasses road widening, paving, utility updates, and new sidewalks and crosswalks.

Construction Schedule: Work is scheduled from Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., with the project expected to be completed by the end of June 2024.

Traffic Notices: The intersection of 31 Road and E Road will be closed entirely. Detour routes will be clearly marked. Traffic patterns, including detours and road closures, are subject to modification as construction progresses.
