No Burn Advisory

Mesa County Public Health has issued a No Burn Advisory from Saturday, June 6 at 7 a.m. until Monday, June 15 at 9 p.m. due to fire danger. Burning of any kind, including agricultural burning, is not allowed during this advisory period. Check conditions on our Air Quality webpage.

In recognition of Adult Protection Awareness month, we invite you to join us for a behind-the-scenes look at how Mesa County Adult Protective Services (APS) works to protect vulnerable adults in our community.

Time: 11:30 a.m.

Date: Wednesday, June 18

Place: Room 1060, 510 29 ½ Road

At this open house, you’ll have the opportunity to meet our APS team, ask questions, walk through real-world scenarios and learn how our staff responds to reports of abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Whether you work with at-risk adults or simply want to understand how to support a neighbor or loved one, this event is a great place to start.

Can’t make it? We offer customized APS training upon request. Call our intake line at 970-248-2888 to learn more.
