No Burn Advisory

Mesa County Public Health has issued a No Burn Advisory from Saturday, June 6 at 7 a.m. until Monday, June 15 at 9 p.m. due to fire danger. Burning of any kind, including agricultural burning, is not allowed during this advisory period. Check conditions on our Air Quality webpage.

E Road Phase 3 Roadway Improvement Project agreement approved

The E Road Phase 3 Roadway Improvement Project is on track to bring you smoother travel as the Board of Mesa County Commissioners approved a $789,408 agreement with an engineering firm to develop a detailed plan of construction for the project. 

This project will include the full design of roadway improvements on E Road from Green Acres Street to 33 Road. 

The design will include the following improvements:

  • Addition of sidewalks, curb, and gutter on the north side of E Road 
  • Widening attached shared-use path with the addition of curb and gutter on the south side of E Road. 
  • Coordination of construction with 32 1/2 Road & Clifton Campus Roadway Improvements Project

Join us in anticipating a smoother commute and enhanced connectivity as the E Road Phase 3 Roadway Improvement Project moves forward, working to complete necessary roadway updates and improve access to key community hubs like the Clifton Community Campus and Rocky Mountain Elementary School.
