Criminal Justice Services Powell Medical Lab Remodel Approved

During their Nov. 19 public hearing, the Mesa County Commissioners unanimously approved a $124,103 contract with Conner Constructors LLC to remodel the medication and nursing area at Mesa County Criminal Justice Services’ Powell Building.

At no cost to Mesa County, this state-funded project will transform how staff monitor residents taking daily medications to create a safer and more private space. The remodel will introduce a designated room for this critical function, better addressing residents' mental health and medication needs.
