Mesa County Commissioners Bobbie Daniel and Cody Davis joined Canadian Consul General Sylvain Fabi, Senior Trade Commissioner Sean Clark, Representative Matt Soper, and other Grand Valley leaders for a roundtable discussion on Thursday, Aug. 15.

Representative Matt Soper invited the Canadian delegation to the Grand Valley for a roundtable meeting hosted by Grand Junction Economic Partnership and Enstrom Candies to bolster trade with Canada. Canada is Colorado’s largest trading partner out of all the beef consumed in Canada, 25% comes from Colorado.

The roundtable discussion provided a valuable opportunity for Grand Valley leaders and the Canadian delegation to strengthen trade relationships and explore new opportunities, reinforcing the vital economic partnership between Colorado and Canada. With Canada already serving as Colorado's largest trading partner, meetings like this are crucial for fostering collaboration and future growth.
