New certification deadlines and Assessment Rates SB23B-001

On November 21, 2023, Governor Polis signed SB23B-001. This was in an effort to provide some additional reductions for property tax. This bill adjusted new calendar deadlines for Local Government and School Board Certification.

Please see the attached Colorado Division of Property Taxation bulletin for additional information. Please note that the Assessor's Office is working to have the Final Certification of values to Special Districts as soon as possible.  

Once we receive further guidance from the Division of Property Taxation and our computer software has been updated to handle these additional reductions, we will be able to get this information to all Special Districts.
