County agencies join forces for transparency

During this week's Sept. 19 administrative public hearing, the Mesa County Commissioners approved an Intergovernmental Agreement between the Mesa County Board of County Commissioners and Mesa County Board of Health to encourage transparency and fiscal responsibility. 

The agreement intends to recognize the two entities' independence while taking advantage of opportunities to coordinate, share resources, and ultimately save costs and benefit taxpayers.
