Commissioners support Grand Valley Water Users' grant

No Burn Advisory

Mesa County Public Health has issued a No Burn Advisory from Saturday, June 6 at 7 a.m. until Monday, June 15 at 9 p.m. due to fire danger. Burning of any kind, including agricultural burning, is not allowed during this advisory period. Check conditions on our Air Quality webpage.

Today during the July 11 administrative public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners sent a letter to the Colorado River District's Community Funding Partnership, expressing their support for the Grand Valley Water Users' Headworks Project grant application.

The Grand Valley Water Users' grant application seeks funding to replace the diversion headgates and other related vital components at the Roller Dam.
