Mesa County Public Health has issued a No Burn Advisory from Saturday, June 6 at 7 a.m. until Monday, June 15 at 9 p.m. due to fire danger. Burning of any kind, including agricultural burning, is not allowed during this advisory period. Check conditions on our Air Quality webpage.

  • The Mesa County Cape Seal Project consists of work in two separate areas.
  • For Independence Valley, the project consists of milling, wide crack repair, and asphalt patching at select crack locations, minor crack sealing, and a cape seal application for the entire Independence Valley subdivision road network.
  • For Orchard Mesa, the project consists of a cape seal application on various roadways shown in the plans and specifications.
